Firstly, most people do not even know what it is - yet it keeps us safe and makes our towns and cities look better all at the same time.
If it wasn't for street furniture all those mop haired skaters would be bored bored bored.
Street Furniture is furniture for the street.
Bollards keep cars from smashing into us and can look quite pretty.
Railings and fencing stops us from wandering out in front of cars.
Litterbins stop the place looking a mess.
Seats, well, seating is just seating really - but it can look cool.
Cycle stands allow all those healthy and environmentally friendly cyclists to chain up their pedal powered horses.
